You are the head mobster in the area. You run almost all of the underground supply of hooch to the area's speakeasys. You take orders from your uncle in Chicago and you often are away on trips to see him (you're somewhat new to all of this). Needless to say, you're extremely wealthy and you've started to make a name of yourself especially by being a great philanthropist to Wichita. You visit the speakeasy at the Eaton often, you say it's because of the drinks, but you also do it to see the most popular "ladies" in town (one in particular).
You have a fondness for Miss Brandy, one of the speakeasy’s regulars. When you’re in town you like to spend some quality time together. She doesn’t know what you do, but she (and others) have a good idea. If given the incentive (just because you’re the head of the local mob doesn’t mean you aren’t new at it J), you would probably tell her more than she should know. It would make you feel even closer to “having” her.
You arrange all alcohol deliveries through Mr. Merlot, the Eaton manager. You don’t deal with anyone else there.
You have two hired hands – Mr. Ginn & Mr. Rumm – that do most of your dirty work, though you don’t mind having others do it as a sign of their “devotion” to you AND it makes them a guilty party in case someone was to rat on you.
You used to own most of Ackerman island (amusement area where the rivers meet), but you recently sold half of it to the city and donated most of the rest (remember, the people love you and know you for your philanthropic side). The part you kept was the boxing ring center. You’re currently supporting the training of Champ Agne and believe he’ll be the best boxer ever (though that seldom matters when the fight has been decided already).
Last Tuesday a large fire destroyed the neighboring Getto Building resulting in several dead. You thought this would be a good opportunity to take care of two of your enemies (or at least your uncle’s enemies) by killing them in the Eaton, having Mr. Merlot move the bodies to the utility closet of the basement and then you had the body moved to the fire wreckage by Mr. Ginn. A portion of the Eaton was also damaged by fire the same night.
One of the enemies of your family is Mr. J Meister. Apparently he put many of your 2nd cousins in Detroit into jail several months ago. You’ve been asked to take him out if you can there at the Eaton during his stay. You had Mr. Rumm and Mr. Ginn “investigate” the situation during the night.
You spent Friday night enjoying Miss Brandy’s company. Now, because of the storm, you’ve spent most of the day with her, too.
The note from the detective has you concerned – but you haven’t done anything. Time to find out who did.
You don’t know how much you should know from your goons – you’re curious if they did anything and who the body is, but you don’t want to connect them with you too much in the public eye.
Same goes for Merlot – you probably should meet with all of them somehow.
