Mrs. Whiskey (in the middle)
You are a member of the Women's Voter League. You are semi-proper and a questionable supporter of prohibition. You wouldn't ever break the law knowingly, but you're open-minded.
You have been going to these WVL meetings for some time now and are friends with every other member. Most of the time the husbands that come often have their own meeting of cards and other games on the side.
Your husband is one of those that left earlier today. Don’t know how far they could get, but hope that all is well with them.
You are a fan of Mrs. Schnaps, she’s a model citizen, but often you feel she’s too restrictive for the group. Since when did being independent women mean we had to do what men’s laws say we should?
Not much except this storm!
Also, you have yet to see or hear from Mr. J. Meister – could his arrival on the Excelsior train be delayed from the storm or is he trying to be sneaky in making his appearance right before the debate?
You are very interested in what Schnaps and Meister has to say to each other.
Advice
If you don’t get a debate, at least pick the minds of those here. Speak to fellow members and compare stories. Even without a major role, you’ll learn a lot. You might also see if anyone has heard from your husband.
