Your recent project has been working on establishing a new and huge cemetary. You hope that Mr. White can see it to donate his lands west of his estate to be added to the space for cemeteries as Omaha is growing fast.

Who you appear to be though you REALLY love the dead (necro fetish). Maybe a result of being pious and single for so long? You also know that the church (ie. you) have a lot to gain (money and joy) with getting this land as you are developing a monopoly on the cemetery world. If you get your way, all burials will have to go through you.
*Last night you were*
A little social. You were around enough to be introduced to a few folks, though you did have a nice conversation with Miss Pearl, the herbalist. Rare to have a woman so interested in the church these days. You then went to bed as it looked like Mr. White was to keep himself busy playing poker and had no ear for your requests, yet. You awoke to a somewhat teary eyed Miss Pearl outside your door in the middle of the night. She asked for your help and you took her in your room to console and reassure her though you she didn't tell you what happened to her. A little later you both heard a gun shot - you left to check it out. You quickly returned with news that others were looking into it (you saw Sen Cardinal, Mustard, Steel and Burgundy head downstairs to check it out) though it was probably just a trouble-maker outside. Now, what to do about Pearl? You drank some water and then she came close and held you tight asking you to protect her. It was very nice and different holding on to such a 'live' beauty. You delved deep into these pleasant thoughts. You awoke very early in the morning and found yourself naked with Miss Pearl asleep next to you. Aack, what did you do?! You quickly dressed and noticed that Pearl hadn't moved at all. You checked her and found that she had a strong fever. You carefully picked her up and took her to her room where you tucked her in her bed. A little later when you knew she'd be awake, you went and asked Miss Periwinkle, the maid, to check in on Pearl.
*Advice*
The one who you needed to get land from is now dead - finding out who will be the new owner would be good. Maybe getting him/her to see your way or even getting the lawyer to see would be to your advantage. What happened with the gunshot? Asking those who went to inspect it would be good. What in the world did you do to Pearl?! You'll want to check in on her through Periwinkle and maybe meet Pearl to discuss her fever. You're dying to know if you broke your sacred vows with her (it would be the first time for that as the dead doesn't count, right?) but you don't know how she'll respond. She may even squeal and say that you took advantage of her after making her sick somehow - so be cautious. Most of all, have fun with your character. He's a kooky one. :)
