A fine lady of good standing in the community. You head the "Ladies' Society of Benevolence and Rescue Home" where young women help other women with housing, clothes, and money. You help those you can, but realize that you have to be selective as your house and society is limited in size.

The head of the nearest and finest brothel in the area. You and Mr. White have been professional friends due to his frequent visits and "contributions" to the society. He is your most prolific customer/donor. You are a woman of fine tastes and beauty, but you tell it like it is with others, no matter their station. Unless, of course, if it comes to the true talents of your ladies. One of which, Lady Jade, you brought along with you for the weekend in case Mr. White or any other possible client needed to be "take care of". Mrs. White was in your care for a brief time 5 years ago until Mr. White married her shortly after their first meeting. You were happy for the couple no matter how strange the quick engagement was - you just wanted to make sure your contributions from Mr. White wouldn't decrease.
*Last night you were*
Casually enjoying the brief company of the evening. You then joined Quicksilver, Green, White, Mustard, & Steel for poker and some good whisky (yes, you're still a respectable lady, but everyone else had pretty much called it a night). Mustard and Green left first, later you and Quicksilver called it a night (going to your separate rooms). At 2am you were startled by a gun shot near the South Terrace. You hurried downstairs joining Mustard, Grey, Steel, Burt Sienna and Sen. Cardinal to see what it was about. Everyone heard the noise, but there was no gun or damage to be found. Nervous, but mostly tired, you all slowly made your way back to your rooms (though you weren't really keeping a close eye on everyone).
*Advice*
You are very upset by the death of Mr. White. Is this the end of your society now that the "sugar-daddy" is gone? You fear the worst for your ladies. You hope there may have been something in a will or draft of a will that would go to your home - maybe the lawyer would know? The investigation could lead to your secret being discovered so you need to make sure this doesn't happen, or if it does, that you can cut a deal to save face and your place. You doubt that anyone else besides you know about Mrs. White's association with you - could help you get more info (especially with her reputation at stake), but you'll have to be careful not to endanger yourself in this endeavor as Mrs. White and/or Lady Jade could reveal what you really are. Maybe befriending the inspector could help, too?
