Professor Plum

(Steve K.)

*You appear to be*

A Professor of History and Mathematics at the local university that Senator Cardinal started. Your wife is an artist who paints landscapes, items, and portraits. You have a love for war and military strategy and any chance you get, you draw up scenarios of conflict and try to solve them. You also have a secret passion for the mathematics of dancing...

*You really are*

Who you appear to be. You have lived here for some time. You even knew the previous owner of the White mansion, Mr. Rex, and his young son, Ed, before Ed had run away (you were much younger at the time). It was very unfortunate that Rex died years later in his grief (they said his heart stopped), but things soon got lively with Mr. White quickly moving in and then marrying Mrs. White.

*Last night you were*

Somewhat social. You shared a drink with Madam Azure, Mr. White, Miss Mauve, Mr. Peacock and Frau Blau. You spoke a bit with Peacock about life in the university and growing soy beans/rice, but it was brief. You had no problems sleeping (you were always a heavy sleeper). Later on you were disturbed. You grabbed and curled up with your wife. She returned the favor and then you started to kiss, but she felt very strange. In fact, as you awoke even more you realized that it wasn't your wife in bed with you, it was Mr. Peacock! You both jumped to your feet and then started to look around to see who's room you were in. It wasn't yours or his; there was a crystal ball on the dresser, it was Madame Azure's - this is just too strange! You both quickly left the room, making sure no one saw you and went to your separate guest rooms. Your wife was not in your bed. You decided that she probably left to look for you, so you quickly went to bed and tried to forget what just happened. In the morning you awoke to find your wife by your side... could it have all been dreamt?

*Advice*

So there was a gun shot last night, could you have gotten up with it and been so tired that you didn't see where you went? Unlikely, but you're not even sure it happened. Speaking with Peacock will prove that (though it will be awkward). If you were out, where was your wife? Dare you confront her about being gone when she could have been out looking for you? What does Madam Azure have to do with all of this (or Blau or Mauve or White or Peacock)? Maybe you could have done something else during the night without realizing it? Might want to speak with Colonel Mustard about his thoughts on the murder and possible strategies you could take to seek him/her out.
