You are the only one other than the inspector and house staff to see the body (examine it). Holds an advanced degree in Chemistry and is well versed in Anatomy. You also have an immense knowledge of sensational literature from the times (know of all the horrors committed in the past 50 years or so), play the violin, knows practical geology and botany (poisons, not gardening) and is very good with a stick and sword. While you know the law well, you know little if anything of literature, philosophy, astronomy, or politics. Yes, you are a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes - in fact, you have embodied your life to resemble his in most everyway. You are a true investigator and you're determined to solve the murder. You came at the request of Senator Cardinal who knew of your skills in New York/DC. You are here under the guise of personal doctor to Senator Cardinal so as not to get undeserved attention. At the last minute, your assistant from DC, Ms. Raven, arrived and took disguise as your nurse assistant.
