Mr. Steel

(Mike)

*You appear to be*

A prudish, ruthless, and famous lawyer that has Mr. White as a client. You are very wealthy and single, too. Your role here is to help Mr. White compose his will.

*You really are*

who you seem to be. But you know much more than most. First, you helped Mr. White gain his current estate from the late Mr. Rex by making the law recognize that Rex had no survivors (even though his son may still be alive - he ran away when young) and helped White purchase the estate before anyone else could (you also got him an exceptionally cheap price for it all for the county). It was extremely illegal and White compensated you generously for it. You never questioned how Rex died though it seemed a little too convenient to be natural. You do know that Chef Shamrock found Rex's body in the kitchen. You know the law exceptionally well and you also know how to work around it. You've recently befriended Miss Grey. She is a government spy and you've asked her to join you for the weekend as a favor and spy on Prince Maroon. You think you've seen him before (year or so ago) and not as a prince, but you can't be sure. It would make you sleep safer to have this rich bachelor our of your area and you'd look good if you are right.

*Last night you were*

up and about the mansion. You joined Quicksilver, Green, White, Mustard, and Burgundy for a long game of poker in the Study. Mustard and Green left earlier. Later Mustard and Burgundy left. When alone White told you about the real will that he had hidden in an old lead pipe in the Billiard Room. He didn't even trust you to have it in your possession. Hmm... You were about to leave when Miss Pearl came in. She looked quite elegant and definitely caught White's eye. She continued to flirt with White so you excused yourself and went upstairs to bed. You have no idea where Miss Grey is though others probably think she slept with you (she is your guest). You awoke to a gun shot outside near the South Terrace a little later. You rushed downstairs and met with Mustard, Grey, Burgundy, Cardinal and Burt Sienna - there was no sign of any wrong doing and so you soon all went back to your rooms (Miss Grey finally came up to your room a little while later).

*Advice*

Now that White is dead, you will be a very popular guy. Folks will want to know if White had a will or who will get what if he has no will (family first, etc). You will probably not want to mention the real will unless you can actually get your eyes on it first (you can modify it to your own benefit) though if you have no luck, you may have to reveal this fact (especially if you're pushed enough). As for your role in the Rex affair, this also is hush-hush and now that an Inspector is involved, you'll want to make sure no one is talking about it as you could do some serious jail-time. You need to speak with Grey and find out what she was doing last night. You'll have to say that you spent the night together if pressed, but you are curious as to what she's discovered/been doing. It would be the end of you if she killed White and you hid her whereabouts. Who could this Maroon really be?
