Dr. Jones

Treasure hunter, archaeologist, you know who you're modeled after, but unlike him, you have a huge ego and are always looking for ways to become more famous. You are also have an unnatural fear of spiders (snakes are fine).
When you heard about the opportunity to find the fabled Cthulon, you knew you had to go! You brought along your hired photographer, Mr. Tigers-Eye, to capture your moments. In reality, you’re not a great treasure hunter or archaeologist, but you sell it better than anyone and are the most famous of them all. You have to be considered the best to appease your ego. Often you jump in and take credit for other’s hard work, like the Dr. Aquamarine. She’s very good, but has had bad luck whenever you’re around. She may be bitter with you by now, but you’re famous and she isn’t, so that makes perfect sense. You like it when others give you attention, especially attractive women. The cowgirl on the trip, the tough Miss Jade is different from most as she’s not in awe of being near you so you feel weird around her and want to try and impress her even more. You want to gain favor and so last night when you found a cache of jewels (actually, your photographer did, but he’s hired help), you gave most of them to everyone else so they’d all love you even more .
There’s only one scripted part for you to follow: part way through the upper jungle, you think Mr. Panter is bitten by a bug. He yells and then you shriek in response due to your girlish fear of spiders (aka biting bugs). You cover up for it by yelling as you run away the way you came in - “I think the other group is in trouble, I”m going to help them out!” and then walk briskly back towards the entrance the way you came. Now just keep on going and go through the exit of the upstairs path and meet your group once again - maybe with a pose holding some gems as they turn the corner? You can share these again as well (keep a couple for yourself) and say “I found a shortcut and diffused some traps to save you some time” all with a smile (and pose). Live it up, Dr. Jones! :-) (including your silly fear of spiders)
