You are the keeper of the Cthulon. Two of your guardians, Lapus & Lazuli, are with the explorers to help lead them astray, but you maintain the sanctuary of the Cthulon. This is your house, after all. :-)

Your tribe has existed for 200 years, when the Cthulon first appeared in your jungle. You keep the holy symbols as first used by the Cthulon when he came and turned himself into a huge jewel that became the lifeforce of this sanctuary. Your job is to ensure the adventurers do not find the Cthulon. They came close yesterday, but today their paths likely will not lead them to the secret entrance in the base of the largest tree in the jungle. You have two guardians out to watch the explorers. You’ll stay behind and maintain the Cthulon sanctuary. You know Colonel Q can be trusted as he has the necklace of immunity which protects him from any harm in the sanctuary. It is rumored that the end of the world would come when the Cthulon disappears. You are the chief of the Cthulon people.

Good to meet your guardians, Lapus & Lazuli, and stay in touch with Coln Q. He can act as the voice of the Cthulu if/when you don’t want to be. You should have one moment in the sun when we return to the sanctuary and state “someone has stolen the Cthulon! No one is allowed to leave until it has been returned to me!” and then you can be quiet and I can take over as needed.
